DeckSleeve has no accounts and no servers: nobody can look at your collection remotely, not even its developer. To get help, just write and describe what is happening.

I reply within a few days. When reporting a bug, it helps to know your iPhone model, your iOS version, what you were doing and what happened instead. For a card that is not recognised, its name, set and the number printed at the bottom.
It needs light, the card straight inside the frame and the number at the bottom readable: that number is what tells one printing from another. Shiny cards reflect, so tilting them slightly helps. If the card's game is not among the downloaded ones, the app cannot find it: add it under Profile → Games and catalogue. When the app is not sure it does not guess: it asks you to confirm among the possible cards. And "search by name" always finds a card by hand.
The sources have no price for that printing, or none in the chosen currency. The app does not invent or estimate a price that is not there: it says so. It often appears in the following days, as the sources update.
Without Pro, single-card scanning saves up to 10 cards a day; the count restarts at midnight. Only saved cards count: misreads and cancelled scans do not. Adding a card by searching for its name has no limit.
Turn them on under Profile → Notifications; the first time, the system asks for permission. If you denied it, turn it back on in the system settings under DeckSleeve. Background price checks are scheduled by iOS, not by the app: they may take a few hours, and Low Power Mode can skip them.
The first download of a whole game is large, Magic above all. You can choose to download only the newest sets, and the rest arrive when needed. Once downloaded, the catalogue works offline.
Your collection lives only on the device and is included in its backups — iCloud or computer — like everything else. There is no copy anywhere else. To be safe, export the CSV from Profile now and then: it is a file you can keep wherever you like and import again.
Purchases go through Apple. Subscriptions are cancelled under Profile → DeckSleeve Pro in the app, or in the system Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com: I do not see payments and cannot issue them.
If you already paid and the app does not notice, tap "Restore purchases" on the DeckSleeve Pro screen: it talks to Apple directly.
